The Albany Rural Cemetery is a 467-acre historic cemetery, located in Menands, about six miles north of downtown. It’s a pleasant and pastoral spot, with roads and paths that are popular for walking. Jogging in the cemetery is permitted…in fact many runners head here to do some hill training.
Add-On: The cemetery is only 1 mile west of Schuyler Flatts Cultural Park and the riverside Mohawk-Hudson Bike Trail.
