Park Spoor Noord is a modern park built on former railway land, with pleasant paved and gravel paths that make for a decent run. The 24-hectare park, which opened in 2009, is located 2 km from central Antwerp and 1.5 km east of the river. There are paths, playgrounds, water fountains, and a BMX park. The landsscape is open and a bit industrial looking — this is not your classic European park.  A loop of the park’s perimeter on paved paths is ~2.5 km.

For a longer run, we suggest combining Park Spoor Noord with our east river route. You can also run along the canal-side roads in Eilandje just to the east. Some of these roads are pleasant for running, while others are more industrial.
