Check out historic downtown Taos on this quick tour of the city’s central streets. The streets in this area are not all well-suited for running, but the stone boardwalk around Taos Plaza is nice, as are the paths around Kit Carson Park. Our route starts from the southwest corner of the plaza. Follow Terensina Lane to Scheurich Lane, then turn LEFT onto John Dunne Way. At Bent Street, turn RIGHT. Turn LEFT onto Paseo del Pueblo until you reach a Kit Carson Park, then take a loop around the playing fields. Exit on Dragoon Lane, turn LEFT, then turn RIGHT onto Quesnal for some lovely ranch views. Turn right back onto Paseo del Pueblo, then LEFT on N to return to the plaza.
