A straight shot run along the Kura River is the best bet for an easy to follow, flat, and reasonably scenic run in Tblisi. The good news is that there are cycle paths or decent sidewalks along both banks of the river, with generally unobstructed views of the water, the old city, and surrounding mountains. There are numerous bridges allowing for loops. The bad news is that you’re next to a busy multi-lane road on either side — so it’s not exactly bucolic. We generally prefer the left bank.
One can do a loop of up to 22 km along the river! There isn’t really a designated route here. The Peace Bridge, a scenic pedestrian bridge, is a good anchor point.
Right Bank: Up to 11 km between the S5 Bridge (hydro plant, view of Wedding Palace) north to the Didube Bridge. There’s a paved cycle path a good part of the way.

Left Bank: Along the left bank, there’s good running for 8 km between the Metekhi Bridge and the Didube Bridge.
Good Loop: In central Tblisi, a good 10 km loop would be between the Metekhi Bridge and the Vakhushti Bridge (Presidential Library).

A nice run in western Tblisi combining a loop around the old Hippodrome (now Central Park), the linear park along Mikheil Tamarashvili St., and Vake Park, with its mix of wide paths, fountains, and wooded sections.
The 'Holy Mountain' is one of the most scenic & popular spots in Tblisi. Run the steep trail to the summit to be rewarded with great views. Or, from the summit, there are good paths for running. Footing fairly easy, but hilly!
This lake in the northwestern part of Tblisi is a popular spot for running. There's an easy lake loop of 3 km, with nice water views. There are also wide, rolling hill trails above the lake.
Although there's not a dedicated path along or around the reservoir, there are some walkways and nice trails just above the water, particularly on the western side. Good water views, and some nice green sections on the eastern side.
National park located 20 km from Tblisi. Trails are mainly wooded. The Sabaduri Forest is especially beautiful in autumn for its colors and in winter with fresh snow. There are cycle trails, a pedestrian trail, and a hiking trail that travels through Saguramo Ridge.
