In the town of Maizières-lès-Metz, located 20 km north of Metz, there’s pleasant running in Park Brieux. The park is located just west of the A31 highway. There are 3-4 km of paths through woods and and around some small ponds, with some nice water views.
For a longer run, take Rte de Metz south, crossing the A4, and run on the paths around a series of small ponds that lie between the train tracks and the A31.
