For a destination run and some terrific trail running, head to F.W. Kent Park. The 1,062-acre park is located 11 miles northwest of town, and features 13 miles of hiking trails that are easy to moderate trail running. The trails are a combination of grass and crushed rock. One of the easier & more scenic running options is the 1.4 mile crushed rock trail around the 27-acre lake, which is more open and features nice water views. Seven historic country road bridges were relocated to this trail.
