For some green and some shade, we love running in Marceliński Forest (Lasek Marceliński). This 230-hectare forest is located 5 km west of Poznań centre and near the airport. There are nearly 16 km of wooded paths that are great for running. The dirt-surfaced paths are wide, flat, and have good footing. The forest is especially pretty in autumn and in winter after a fresh snowfall.
Choose any one of the numerous paths crisscrossing through the woods. The paths are mainly straight, running up to 2.5 km east-west and 1 km north-south. There’s a nice variety of trees, and a couple of more open areas.
