Just east of Monaco, there are several continuous km of scenic waterfront running. We’ve divided this into two different posts: the Sentier du Corbusier coastal path around Cap Martin, and then the seafront promenade east to Menton.

The Sentier du Corbusier is a concrete-surfaced coastal path that winds around Cap Martin. A good part of it is above the water, affording spectacular views of the water, coastline, and surrounding mountains. Although it is a paved pedestrian path, it is narrower, hillier, and windier than some of the other ‘seafront promenades’ in the area. The official path starts just north of the Criques du Cap Martin, but we start the route on the Sentier Massolin (which adds 1 km), which is a trail that can be accessed from near the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin train station. Run around the Cap to the end of the trail at Statue Corbusier, which @ 3km. It’s nice to continue on the wide, waterfront sidewalk along Av. Winston Churchill for another ~1 km.

Add-Ons: See our Menton route, which continues along the waterfront for another 6.4 km east.
