This is a lovely~6 km route just south-east of the center of Oslo that includes two parks: Middelalderparken & Ekebergparken. Starting just east of the Opera House, start with a short loop around Middelalderparken, “The Medieval Park”. Built in 2000, the park houses the ruins of St. Clement’s Church, St. Mary’s Church, and the former Royal Estate. The park also features a tranquil lake, nicknamed “Tenerife.”  Just south of there is Ekebergparken (Ekeberg Park), which features a 63-acre sculpture park and trails through a nature preserve.

Add-Ons: Middelalderparke adjoins the eastern end of our Oslo Runseeing route.
