The Terra Vista Neighborhood, in the southwest part of Bakersfield, is another attractive area for running. This community has a classic suburbs vibe, with lots of dead end streets, clean sidewalks, and high-end homes. Vista del Luna and Vista del Mar are the signature streets in the neighborhood, but there are lots of pleasant places to explore. For a longer run, follow Mountain Vista Drive south to the Artisan neighborhood or north to Southern Oaks and Tevis Ranch neighborhoods. Our 6-mile loop covers some of the quietest, most attractive streets in the area. Use as a guide to create your own route.
