One of the best places to run in Bergamo is the pleasant Greenway del Morla, located just east of the Città Alta. It’s sort of a gateway to the Parco dei Colli di Bergamo. A gravel path runs from Via C. Baioni, passing Campo Sportivo and numerous parks, ending at Ramera and the offices of the Parco dei Colli di Bergamo. There are lovely views on this path, as it climbs steadily for nearly 100m. It’s 3.6 km one-way, with an option to add another 1 km along Via Valmarina.
Side Option: Take a 1 km side path off the greenway to the Bergamo Botanical Garden. It’s at the small rotary where the Greenway del Morla meets Via Valverde.
