At 69,000 acres, Brasília National Park is one of the largest parks in the world located in an urban area. Situated 10 km north of the Federal District, the park features some good trails for walking, running, and mountain biking. It’s also popular for the two natural water swimming pools, so take a run and go for a dip! You’ll see plenty of upland savanna trees (Cerrado), the dominant vegetation of central Brazil. The best options for running are:

Capivara Trail. A nature trail of ~1.3 km.
Crystal Water Trail(Cristal Água). This trail goes for up to 15 km, and is mainly a wide, red-surfaced dirt/gravel path. Note that the terrain is quite exposed so be sure to bring water!
Note these trails can’t be easily mapped, nor are there any digital maps available — best to stop at the Park Visitor Center and obtain info.
