Brussels Urban Run: Chocolate Village!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This is a ‘runseeing’ and more urban tour of the western part of the city. Start at Parc Bruxelles, and run up Rue Royale to the Botanical Garden. Then do a 1 mile out and back along Boulevard Roi Albert II through the linear park, and then west along Blvd. Leopold II to Chocolate Village and Parc Elizabeth and the National Basilica. The back half of the route heads east, using Rue Hercoliers and following the N9 (commercial street), over the Canal and through Place Sainte Catherine, skirting the northern side of the old city, along Rue de l’Ecuyer.
