Donghu Park & Southern Jinjiang River Path

Donghu Park is a great starting place for a run along the upper branch of the Jinjiang River. There are earthen paths around the lake as well as a cycle path along the east edge of the park. The path leads south along the waterfront, through Dongli Cuihu Park, and then south again along the river for 6 km. The cycle path crosses the S. Third Ring Road and ends near Jincheng Ave., just north of the Chengdu Ring Road (G4201) after about 6.6 km, but runners can hop on at any point for an out and back.

Add-On: For more, paths along the Jinjiang River continue about 1.5 km north of Donghu Park. See our route there. You can also connect to our Greenbelt route at the southern end.

Essentials
  • 6.6 km (4 miles)
