Falls Park and Reedy River Trails

Diego Delso, delso.photo

This 10 km out and back route through a linear park along the Reedy River is the signature run in Greenville. The anchor is the lovely Falls Park on the Reedy, which features waterfall views, a curved suspension bridge & several acres of gardens. The route is a section of the 22-mile Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Start 0.5 miles north of Falls Park in Linky Stone Park, a kids-centered park located near downtown. Run 0.5 miles to Falls Park — the hilliest section of the run. It’s another 0.5 miles to Cancer Survivors Park. The whole area is pleasantly green, and there are occasional views of the narrow Reedy River. Continue along the main trail to 122-acre Cleveland Park (2 mile mark), which has some additional trails, a fitness trail, and tennis/volleyball courts. Turn around here. Option: Our route includes a tributary of the trail that goes south to E. Farris Rd., which adds nearly 2 miles overall to the route.

Add-On: The Swamp Rabbit Trail continues north of downtown/Linky Stone Park for 11+ miles. Route here.
