The Cleveland Park area of Greenville, east of SR 29 and north of August St., is a pretty area for running near downtown. Anchored by Cleveland Park and McDaniel Ave., the area features leafy residential streets and historic homes. Use our route map as an outline.

Run the 1 mile through Cleveland Park on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Then, run the 1 mile north-south on the pretty residential streets in the area, including McDaniel Ave. a very pretty residential street, passing the T. Q. Donaldson House. Then, come back on McDaniel to Crescent St., head east, and then LEFT on Cleveland St. to connect to the Swamp Rabbit Trail, back to Cleveland Park.

Add-Ons: Jaunt over to Green Forest Park, 0.5 miles of wooded trails. Also, additional residential streets in the neighborhood, or north of Cleveland Park in the Pettigru Historic District, connecting to our Greenville downtown tour.
