Features:
About 4 miles north of downtown, a paved multi-use path follows the west side of the Red River for a little over 3 miles. It’s another good off-road running opportunity, passing through the Trollwood and Edgewood neighborhoods, and several parks. There are a couple of sections right along the water, but much of this route passes through parks, and also includes a less pleasant ~1 mile section along busy N. Broadway Dr.
Start at Trollwood Park near the Edgewood Golf Club. Follow the path north, passing North Broadway Park. Just north of 40th Ave. N, the Oakport Prairie Ecological Park is just to the east. The trail ends at the Fargo Cricket Club/Riverwood Park at 48th Ave. N. The full out and back is 6.8 miles, but choose any distance you like!
