Features:
In the southern part of Fargo, Southpointe and several adjacent neighborhoods are pleasant for running. There are numerous bike paths and multi-use trails winding through a series of small parks, with wide, sidewalked residential streets that can be run as well.
We recommend using the Milwaukee Trail, a paved multi-use path that runs for 3 milesĀ through the Brunsdale, Southpointe, and Rose Creek neighborhoods, as the anchor for an exploratory run. The trail passes three ‘mini parks’. The residential streets to the west of the trail are decent for running, wide with good sidewalks. At the southern end of the Milwaukee Trail, there’s also nice running in the Centennial neighborhood, including Oak Creek Park and a bike path that runs between 40th Ave. S and 47th Ave S., passing through several small marks. You can also connect to the Red River trails, aboutĀ 1.5 miles east of the northern end of the Milwaukee Trail.
- Milwaukee Trail is 2.9 miles one-way
- Flat
- Northern end of Milwaukee Trail is off Gold Dr. S at Oak Manor Park
