Waterfront Path From Sopot to Gdynia, Including Northern Park

The waterfront between Gdańsk and Gdynia is fantastic for running. There’s a seamless multi-use path that runs along a series of beaches for nearly 11 km in Gdańsk, Sopot, and Gdynia, and includes President Ronald Reagan Park, Brzeźnieński Park, and Northern Park (Park Północny). We’ve divided this into two routes, which can be combined in various ways. Note: Plaża=Beach

This route is focused on the waterfront path headed north from Ronald Reagan Park. The paved multi-use path runs along Sopot & Psia beaches, with separate sections for cyclists and pedestrians. There are some views of the water, though the view is obscured by trees and dunes for much of the way. Overall, it’s 8.6 km between Ronald Reagan Park and Orłowo, which is in the southern part of the port city of Gdynia. The route includes scenic jaunts out the Sopot and Orłowo piers. There’s also a nice 2 km section through Northern Park, which has both a waterfront section and interior forested trails.

Beach Running: This is also one long beach, but the sand is very soft and not great for running.
