Marble City and Third Creek Greenway Park

www.visitknoxville.com

The western part of Knoxville features the lively Marble City neighborhood and multi-use paths through the long, narrow Third Creek Greenway Park. For a longer run, we recommend starting at the Third Creek Greenway trailhead at UT Gardens. Head north for 1 mile along the paved greenway, with views of Third Creek. After crossing Highway 129 into Tysons Park, the trail becomes the Knoxville City Greenway/Bearden Village Greenway, passing through several parks and some wooded sections. Run west for up to 2.5 additional miles to the RecSports Complex and ice rink. The total is 3.6 miles one-way, but can be shortened by starting at Tysons Park, or lengthened with other area trails.

Note: Third Creek Greenway Park is site of a weekly Parkrun. More info.

Add-Ons: Neyland Greenway & Second Creek Greenway (see map); Cherokee Farm Park/Greenway on southern side of the river.
