New Town Eco Park

New Town Eco Park, located in the northeast of Kolkata, is a great place for an off-road run. The park is a popular visitor spot for its recreational activities such as cycling and boating, and attractions Japanese Forest, a Butterfly Garden, a collection of artistic masks, and an island of cottages. The best way to see the park is to run a loop around the grounds. We’ve mapped a 6.4 loop around the park and its lake, starting from the Japanese Gardens. It heads north along the linear park (bordering Biswa Bangla Sarani Road), loops through the butterfly gardens, then cuts back on the north of the Lake Side Path. Take a quick tour of the cottages of Ekante Eco Island, then cross back over the bridge to return to the start. Bonus: lit at night

Note: There is a small fee of 30 Rupees to enter the park.
