In east Kolkata near the Patuli Floating Market, Patuli Jheel Park is a nice spot for a short but attractive run. The area has been recently improved with wide paths, good lighting, a replica of the Howrah Bridge and the Biswa Bangla globe, and several statues. There are paths along a small lake, fountains, and food stalls. There’s also a ‘water ATM’ available. Our thanks to Ansuman Parida for suggesting this route!

There is no set route here. Rather, we recommend running between the EM Bypass Link Rd. and Patuli Main Rd. One can do a loop of 4-5 km in this area. Pro tip: Nice at sunset!
