Model Town Park and Arfa Karim Park

Model Town Park and Arfa Karim Park are two good jogging spots located in the southern part of Lahore, just west of Lahore Cantonment. Another plus of this area is the easy access via subway.  The centerpiece is Model Town Park, which has a jogging track of 2.2 km, made of mud and clay. It’s a popular and well-maintained path. One can run some other paths and roads in Model Town Park, although some of the park is reserved as a golf course.

Just to the east of Model Town Park, Arfa Karim Park is a long, narrow park paralleling East Ave. in Model Town. There are good paths for running here as well, making for a loop of up to 4 km. To combine the two parks, we suggest using Lane 4 or Lane 11 (see map).

Add-Ons:  The neighborhood streets of Model Town are runnable, although some sections might be gated.
