Devil’s Punch Bowl State Natural Area/Beverly Beach: Devil’s Punchbowl is a popular visitor spot for the churning waves of this collapsed sea cave. Wonderful beach run along Beverly Beach — one of the widest in the area — up to 1.4 miles to Beverly Beach State Park. Bonus: good post-run ice cream or wine tasting options!
Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area. For some hilly, paved surface running with some fantastic water views, this is a great spot in Newport. This area is at some elevation so there are sweeping views of the area. There’s a ~1 mile paved path alongside the road that runs between Quarry Cove and Yaquina Head Lighthouse. You can also stitch together another ~1-2 miles along the hillier Salal Hill & Communications Hill trails. Note:fee required.
