Seminole Wekiva Trail

Google Street View

Run on a section of what was at one time the the longest railroad in the country! The Seminole Wekiva Trail is a paved multi-use trail that runs for nearly 14 miles in the northern part of Orlando. The southern end starts off Bear Lake Rd. in Altamonte Springs, and heads north, ending at the Wekiva Falls RV Resort. There are mile markers

There are trailheads and facilities at San Sebastian, the Seminole Softball Complex (mile 4), the Jones Complex (mile 9.1), and at Markham (mile 13). The trail alternates between residential areas and woods. Some of the nicer sections, away from busy roads, are miles 1-4, and 8-11, headed south to north.

Add-Ons: At the Markham trailhead (mile 13, 8515 Markham Rd.), there’s some nice trail running in the Markham Woods.
