Oshkosh — Lake Winnebago Run

Ame's Point. Google Street View

One of the most scenic runs along Winnebago is in the eastern part of Oshkosh, from Menominee Park to Ame’s Point. There’s a dedicated waterfront path featuring great views. Start at Menominee Park, which is also known for its zoo and the Oshkosh Celebration of Lights. There’s a scenic 1-mile path around the park. Then, continue north of the park on the waterfront path for 1.5 miles to Ame’s Point. Fantastic water views on both sides out to Ame’s Point. Overall, it’s 4 miles out and back.

Add-Ons. The residential neighborhood just inland from Menominee Park is pleasant for running.

Essentials
  • 4.1 miles (6.5 km) out and back
