Ekebergparken Route

Ekebergparken can be found just to the south-east of the center of Oslo, on a small hill overlooking the city. The park is unique in that it will give you an opportunity to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing run while running through a 63 acre sculpture park, with works by internationally renowned artists.

Our route also includes Middelalderparken, “The Medieval Park”. Middelalderparken is less than a half mile from Ekeberg. Built just recently, in 2000, the park houses the ruins of St. Clement’s Church, St. Mary’s Church, and the former Royal Estate. The park also features a tranquil lake, nicknamed “Tenerife.” The lake can be found in the west end of the park.

Essentials
  • 5.8 km (3.7 mile) out and back
  • 307 feet
  • Ekebergparken
  • Well served by public transport: Ekebergparken
