This is a pleasant linear park route in northwest Charlotte, combining paved multi-use trails through several parks. Overall, up to 33 miles one-way, with some tributary trail options.
The Stewart Creek Greenway a paved multi-use trail that runs along Stewart Creek for 2.5 miles, passing through Martin Luther King, Jr. Park and Seversville Park. This includes a newly opened extension (2024) adds a mile north of MLK Park to Lakewood Ave.
Our mapped route continues onto the Wesley Heights Greenway at the 2-mile mark for 0.4 miles to I-77 (the Stewart Creek Greenway continues for another 0.5 miles to Freedom Dr.). Then, head north on the Indian Creek Greenway through Frazier Park for another 1 mile to W. 5th St.
