University Botanical Gardens (Ecopark Varna)

Google Street View

The University Botanical Gardens, also known as Ecopark Varna, is an attractive spot for running. The nearly 100 acres of botanical gardens features 300 species of exotic trees and shrubs, 100 species of grass plants, and 250 varieties of irises. There are lovely paths throughout the gardens. The park is 8 km east of the centre.

For running, there is no set route. Just enjoy these paths through the gardens. You can pick up a map at the Visitor Center. We did confirm that running is permitted in the gardens. Make sure you get to the Saint Kliment Ohridski Chapel, which is the highest point in the garden and features great views of Varna Bay.
