Canale Biffis Path

The paved bike lanes along the Canale Biffis are a great option for runners in the west of Verona. The canal is split into two sections. It’s possible to connect the two sections, which are 1.5 km apart, by using the main road, but there are sections of the road that don’t have a sidewalk and might not be advisable for running.

Section 1: The closest branch to the city starts at the Via S. Marco bridge. It heads north 3.3 km to the Adige River.

Section 2: Just across Via Turbina, another section begins. It runs west for approximately 4 km to the Via Piemonte in Longiar. Runners can combine the canal path with the paths along the Adige River or the Verona Runseeing Tour for more variety.
