Washington State University, located 10 miles north of Vancouver, features an attractive campus for running, with six miles of walking, jogging, and biking paths. There are four popular, signposted routes — which combine some of the main sections of campus, plus some open grasslands and more wooded sections. The longest loop is the 4.6 mile Red Loop. The surfaces are a mix of paved, trail, and wood chips, depending on the trail. Generally rolling hills. Beautiful views of Mt. St. Helens.

Essentials
  • 6 miles of trail. Longest is the 4.6 mile (7.4 km) Red Loop
  • Rolling Hills
  • Located 10 miles north of the city. Bus access
