This is another lovely, centrally located run that combines an iconic park, gardens, some important Seville sights in the Barrio Santa Cruz, and a section of river path. The route starts at the southern end of the prominent Parque de María Luisa near the Archeological Museum, which has gorgeous landscaped paths and grounds, plazas, fountains, and the Plaza de España on its eastern end. It’s ~1.5 km

through the park, with options for added interior paths. Exit the park, run through the small San Sebastian Park, and into the Jardines de Murillo, and the important Real Alcázar de Sevilla monument. Exit the park and continue north, on a pedestrian path along Av. de la Constitución, passing some key sites: Catedral de Sevilla, Plaza del Cabildo, Puerta del Perdón, and additional plazas and monuments. Just past La Giralda tower, head west to the river, passing through Plaza de toros, and run for 2 km south on the river path, Paseo Alcalde Marqués del Contadero.
Add-Ons: You can do some additional running in Seville’s historic center. Enjoy the scenic, maze-like streets and gorgeous architecture. Best to go early, to beat the people and cars.

Seville's Old Town is the one of the largest in Europe, and we explore a good bit of it in this 8 km 'runseeing' tour. We've tried to design an easy-to-follow route while hitting the highlights. Good add-on options.
In the southern part of Seville, Parque Guadaíra and Parque de los Bermejales are two nice parks connected by multi-use paths that can be stitched together for a longer off-road run.
This scenic run has three distinct elements for variety: a loop through the iconic Guadalquivir Garden, the paths of Alamillo Park, and riverside paths.
For a longer off-road run, there are some decent paths along the Guadalquivir River. More developed on the western side, north of the Puente de la Señorita bridge. Can combine with Vega de Triana Park.
The 90-hectare Parque Miraflores is Seville's largest park, and is a treat for running. A large network of paths pass through gardens, fields, lawns, and some water spots. One can easily put together a 6-7 km non-overlapping path run.
Lovely green oasis located in the Sevilla Este area a few km east of Seville Center. One can do a loop of 5-6 km on wide, tree-shaded paths. Good shade option in summer. Two fitness centers in the area.
