This is a pleasant off-road run around Lake Atalanta, located 9 miles southwest of Bentonville in Rogers. There’s a paved path around the lake, with water views nearly the whole way. A section of the path on the east side of the lake actually extends over the water. The loop is 2 miles, with an optional extra 0.8 mile extension on a path through Rock Spring Park, ending at the popular Railyard Bike Park. The extension piece is hilly.

Lovely loop around the lake at Bella Vista Lake Park on paved paths. It's 1.7 miles, or add on with the ~1 mile Wishing Springs Trail. Just north are more rugged trails at Blowing Springs Park, very popular with mountain bikers.
