Golden Sands is a popular seaside resort town located 17 km north of Varna. There are many km of sandy beach here, and the town is lined with hotels and villas.
For runners, the unnamed beachfront road is a popular spot. It stretches for 2.5 km between the Admiral Hotel and Nirvana Beach, including a jaunt out the pier. It’s not a dedicated waterfront path, but there are loads of pedestrians. There are beach & water views along some of the way, while in other sections, there are small buildings and kiosks. It’s generally a festive scene! Bonus: lit at night.
