This qualifies as one of the best routes around a corporate campus! The new Walmart campus, opened in January 2025, is a sight to see in Bentonville. The 350-acre campus features 12 office buildings, extensive green space, fitness centers, and sustainability with features like mass timber construction. There are also some 7 miles of trails in & around the college-like campus, and connections to additional trails in Bentonville. And unlike the fancy trails around the Nike, Brooks, Microsoft, and Meta campuses, these trails are open to the public! Scroll down to a video.
We’ve mapped a 5k route through the heart of the Walmart Campus. The campus stretches north-south from S 14th St. to SE 5th St., and east-west between SE J St. and MLK Parkway. Our route starts around SE 14th St. (NEW: Bike trail tunnel!), following 14th St. for 3/4 mile and then north on SE J St. for 3/4 mile. Then, run on the trail through the heart of campus (labeled Town Branch Trail on Google Maps), which includes two small lakes. You can also explore additional pedestrian paths around the campus.
Add-Ons: Town Branch Trail continues northeast, connecting to the Crystal Bridges trails. Also, connect to the Razorback Greenway at Bentonville High School, and follow south toward Fayetteville. There’s also a running track just west of J St. @SE C St. & SE 18th St.
