Egholm Island is a great spot for a pastoral run. It’s reachable via a ferry, located 2 km west of Aalborg centre, that takes 5 minutes and runs every 1/2 hour. Once on Eghom, there’s scenic running on lovely gravel roads along the water and past farm fields. And very few cars! Overall, an 8-9 km run is possible, using the main road and a couple of offshoots.
