Kildeparken, Mølleparken, & Kridtgraven Lake

Mølleparken. Google Street View

This is a pleasant run in central Aalborg combining a couple of parks and a nice path along a small lake. We’ve mapped an 8 km loop to use as a guideline, but you can shorten it by just focusing on Kildeparken & Mølleparken parks.

Kildeparken. CC: Andreas Strandfelt aka AaB-ern

Start at Kildeparken, with an ~0.7 km loop around the paths of this small 1800s park known for its ‘singing trees’ and sculptures. Then head on the path exiting the park west to Mølleparken, passing the Skovdalen Atletikstadion running track. Mølleparken features a pond, statues, an outdoor exercise facility, and a 2.5 km jogging trail, within which lies the Lysløjpen, a 45m gradient!  Here, retrace your steps for a shorter run, or continue for our loop option.

Loop Option: Continue west of Mølleparken to Stolpedalsparken, and then Svalegårdsvej to access the 0.8 km path along Kridtgraven Lake, which has nice water views. From the northern end of the lake, use the Annebergstien path headed east, completing the route using Annebergvej and then the road south along the edge of Almen Kirkegård cemetery.
