Features:
A good route for a quick park run, Marienlyst Park is located 4 km west of Aarhus center, near Herredsvang, to the south of Aarhus University Hospital. The paved and gravel paths throughout the sprawling green park include a 1500m track, a yellow marked 3.1 km route, a red marked 5 km route, and a green marked 2 km. Runners can extend the route on one of the many dirt paths radiating out from the park. One good option is to run north towards Hospitalssøerne and complete a loop around the hospital grounds before returning (about 7 km). Other paths stretching north connect with the Sunbeams over Aarhus Countryside Route for longer runs.
