Craving some more waterfront running close to the city? The North Beach promenade just across the Harbor Bridge is a great option. It’s only about 1.5 miles one way, but the concrete path hugs the sandy coast of this lively beach. On the south end, the path leads to the USS Lexington. Runners can complete a 2.7 mile out and back with a tour of the aircraft carrier and its museum.
