Credit Island Park, located in west Davenport, is a great place for a run on walking trails and untrafficked roads. It can be run standalone or combined with other routes nearby for a longer run.
A loop of the island is 3.7 miles, on a combination of trail and Credit Island Road, which has very little traffic. It’s pleasant and green, with some nice water views. There’s parking on the island.
Access From Downtown. For a longer run, access Credit Island from downtown. From Centennial Park, using the the Riverfront Trail, it’s 1.5 miles to Credit Island. There’s a path the whole way.
