Eastbourne Promenade and Parks

Mike Lis

Eastbourne is a resort town known for its seafront Victorian hotels and 19th-century Eastbourne Pier. There’s a scenic waterfront run on the Eastbourne Promenade, a wide paced path extending for 4 miles between Helen Garden and Sovereign Harbour. There are also several parks along the way offering scenery and additional paths.

The Eastbourne Pier is a good starting point. You can head west toward Helen Garden for 1.5 miles. Or, head east for 2.6 miles to Sovereign Harbour, passing Princes Park and Sovereign Park. The Promenade has great views of the Channel, with green bluffs and cliffs rising above.

Add-Ons: Some additional paths in the parks.
