There’s some lovely waterfront running in the seaside town of Worthing, located 10 miles west of Brighton. A wide seafront promenade runs for 6 miles between the Widewater Lagoon and Goring-by-sea Beach. There are expansive water views the whole way. A good starting point is Worthing Pier. From there, take a jaunt out to the pier, with options to run up to 4 miles east to Widewater Lagoon or 2 miles west to Goring-by-sea Beach. Note: The beach is not great for running.
Add-Ons: There are a few nice parks just off the waterfront path that are nice, green add-ons. East of Worthing are beautifully landscaped grounds at Beach House Park, and a short lake loop at Brooklands Park.
