It’s possible to stitch together a quite decent run in the Cayala neighborhood —  an upscale new district in Zone 16 in the southeastern part of Guatemala City. Start at Plaza Cayala, a large square, where you can then run south for 0.5 km on the pedestrian-only 10 Avenida. Then, take the sidewalk/path along the busy Blvd. Rafael Landivar for 2 km, connecting to Blvd. Vista Hermosa, and run along the ~2 km tree-lined median strip. Retrace your steps to the start. Note: Hilly!
