The Clinton Community Nature Center offers an opportunity for some pleasant, off-road wooded running. It’s a 32-acre section of native forest in Clinton, which is located 11 miles northwest of Jackson. There are 2.3 miles of heavily forested nature trails.
Longer Run: Take Dunton Rd. west, pass the Tanglewood House historical landmark, and run around some of the paths of Mississippi College, which has a running track at its western end.
