Best Convention Cities for Running

The National Mall & Memorials run is right near the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

The Miami Beach Convention Ctr. is near Miami's iconic Miami Beach Boardwalk route.

The Convention Center is near the airport and downtown, where there's some lovely waterfront running.

While the Javits Center won't win awards as a facility, it's along the fabulous Hudson River Greenway that runs between the GW Bridge and Lower Manhattan.

McCormick Place is along the iconic Lakefront Path.

The Henry B. González Convention Ctr. is centrally located near the San Antonio Riverwalk.

The Pennsylvania Convention Center is right downtown, where you can enjoy our Philadelphia Highlights & other fab Philly routes.

The Moscone Center is 1/2 mile from the Embarcadero, beginning the famed run to the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Colorado Convention Center is in the heart of downtown, and near the Cherry Creek Trail

The larger Convention Center is in the Seaport and part of our Waterfront route; The Hynes Conv. Ctr. is in Back Bay, near the famed Charles River Paths.

Increasingly popular conference destination. Nice running near the Music City Center is our 'runseeing' tour & the Cumberland Greenway.

The Metro Toronto Convention Center is in the heart of downtown. It's 1 km to the Martin Goodman Trail along the Lake Ontario waterfront.

The Vancouver CC overlooks the Harbour and is one of the world's most spectacular settings for a convention center. And, it's also the start of the Seawall -- the world 's longest uninterrupted waterfront path!

The modern ExCeL London convention center is in the Docklands/Canary Wharf area, which has some nice waterfront running.

The ICC Berlin is in the western part of the city. Close by is the Grunewald Forst, a huge forest park with trails for all abilities.

Very popular conference destination. The iconic Barcelona waterfront run is steps away from the Convention Center. The running options aren't as good near the city's other major conference center, Fira Gran Via.

Depends which one. The Parc des Expositions de Ville is the largest convention center in France and is also near CDG. Sausset Park near there is a decent running option.

IFEMA Madrid is in the northeast part of the city. Good running near there is Parque Juan Carlos 1, which features gardens, a lake, and 19 open-air sculptures!

The Lisboa Congress Centre is on the waterfront, so you'll enjoy a section of our Tejo River Run.

The Congress Center Messe Frankfurt is in the western part of the city. Runners can enjoy a route combining the gardens of Palmengarten with Grüneburgpark and the campus of Goethe University.

The wonderfully located Austria Center Vienna provides easy access to wonderful running along the Danube River/Donaupark & Danube Island.

The impressive Centro Congresso La Nuvola is far from the center of Rome. Stitch together a running route combining Parco del Lago, Parco degli Eucalipti, & Parco del Nonfeo

Tokyo Big Sight is right on Tokyo Bay, with nice running options at Odaiba & Koto City seaside parks.

The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center is adjacent to two of the best places to run in Bangkok: Benjakitti Park & Lumpini Park.

One of Hong Kong's two main convention centers is centrally located & overlooks Victoria Harbour, near our Central Waterfront route.

Centrally located MCEC is near several of our favorite Melbourne routes: Yarra River, Tan Track, major parks.

ICC Sydney is in the heart of town, with great access to Darling Harbour & other scenic routes.
