The northern end is at  Starting at the northern end at Xemxija Bay, the route runs south for 2.75 km to Wignacourt Tower in Qawra, continuing south toward Pembroke along the seafront promenade, which has nice views of St. Paul’s Shoal for 3 km to Qawra Beach. Continue along Salina Bay to Salina Park, and take the path through the park to cut off a short section of the coast road (Highway 1).

There’s a not very pleasant ~1 km section on the busy coast road. But then there’s a nice 3.5 km section, on a good sidewalk and with great views along Salina Bay, even though it’s a busy road. The end point is at St. Mark’s Tower, where a bike path leads to the tower. The road turns inland.

Add-Ons: From Xemxija Bay, you can access the Xemxija Hill Heritage Walk route.
