The remarkable Blenheim Palace, the residence of the Dukes of Marlborough, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and cultural museum that remains open to the public. There are many miles of fabulous grounds and formal gardens around this 17th-century palace and estate. The best spots for a run include the 4.6-mile rolling hill park perimeter loop and the 1.5 mile loop around Queen Lake. We’ve also mapped a 10+ km loop starting from the village of Woodstock.
The palace is located 10 miles north of Oxford in Woodstock, and close to the Oxford International Airport. It’s also easily accessible with a train trip to Hanborough or Combe Station. Runners can also get there on foot, using the sidewalk of A44. We’ve mapped a 10+ km loop starting from the village of Woodstock.
