While most runners around Paris stick to parks and bike paths for their routes, we couldn’t resist this course through the charming streets of Montmartre. There is lots to see in this part of the city, from shop-lined cobblestone streets to architectural marvels like the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Start out from the Blanche or Pigalle metro station and follow Boulevard de Clichy east to Montmartre Hill. There are lots of paths to explore in and around the park before climbing the stairs to Sacré-Cœur. Head past the museum, chateau, and Buste de Dalida before heading back on Rue Lepic, Rue Joseph de Maistre, and Rue Caulaincourt.
