Park Babelsberg is another place for a great run in Potsdam. The park, a UNESCO-listed site, was founded in 1833. There are paths passing wonderful landscaped gardens, sculptures, monuments, and Glienicke Palace at the southern end. There are also some lovely views of the Havel River and Tieler See (lake).

Create your own route on the paths all around the park. It’s ~2 km north-south and ~1 km east-west. The terrain is a combination of open and wooded terrain. The west side runs along the Havel River, and there are some nice water views.

Add-On: Glienicke Park &  Westlicher Düppeler Forst (Forest) are just north of the northern end of Park Babelsberg. There are many km of forest paths there, and Glienicke Palace at the south end. Combining these two parks makes for a nice long run!  Babelsberg can also be combined with our other Potsdam routes.
