Saratoga Spa State Park is a National Historic Landmark that’s renowned for its cultural, aesthetic, and recreational features. Major sites include the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Auto Museum, the historic bath houses, and Geyser Brook. The park is ~1 mile south of downtown, using Broadway Ave.

For running, there are 15 miles of trails in the park — a combination of gentler paths and some more rugged trails. One popular route is the Five Mile Trail, designated by yellow markers. This mainly unpaved, wooded trail makes for an excellent tour of the park. For road running in the park, Avenue of the Pines is popular and comes off Broadway Ave. Or, do some laps around the Roosevelt Spa building (near the tennis courts) and then dip into the adjacent wooded trails.
